Who We Are
BVDM Tax & Legal Services (CIS) BV was established by Mr. Bauke van der Meer in 2001 as a family owned, well-developed legal advisory office that specializes in legal and tax matters on the axis The Netherlands and the Russian Federation. With its own offices in Amsterdam and Moscow, BVDM Tax & Legal Services is ideally positioned to service clients with a need for cross border tax and legal advice.
We are a small but very diverse team which works closely together across two offices. The total number of employees is 14, evenly divided amongst the Amsterdam and Moscow offices. Some of our colleagues divide their time between Amsterdam and Moscow.
Through a long time of its development and extension, Russian legal system has made a great leap forward: nowadays, there is a good established legal and tax system for starting a new business on the territory of the Russian Federation.
The main goal of our team is to provide our clients and partners with legal support in all stages of a business life span, achieving efficiency and business success for both Russian and foreign companies.
BVDM is a member of the Association of European Businesses, a representative body of foreign investors in Russia.
